Collection: Stern thruster tunnels

Pairing a VETUS stern thruster with a VETUS bow thruster unlocks unparalleled boat control. Placing a side-directional thruster in the bow and another at the transom ensures that docking, sailing away, and finding the perfect berth in any condition, including windy and turbulent waters, becomes a breeze. This combination of thrusters is the secret to making intricate boat maneuvers seem child's play.

VETUS, known for its commitment to product quality and outstanding customer support, has streamlined the installation process of their stern thrusters. The electric motor and other essential components seamlessly fit internally on the boat's transom. Externally, the stern thruster tunnel and propeller are expertly installed on the transom, guaranteeing efficient and performance.

VETUS offers an impressive range of stern thruster tunnel kits, which can be used for 31 different stern thruster models. These kits are versatile, catering not only to standard stern thrusters but also "ignition protected" thrusters, extended runtime thrusters, BOW PRO thrusters, and RIMDRIVE thrusters. VETUS' adaptability and commitment to meeting diverse boating requirements are evident in these tunnel kits.

When stern thruster openings are too close to the waterline, an extension kit becomes indispensable. This kit prevents the thruster from drawing in air, ensuring optimal thrust and maneuverability. It also effectively directs water flow away from transom-mounted obstructions like outdrives, trim tabs, and swim-platform brackets, maintaining the stern thruster's effectiveness. Comprising two fiberglass shells and stainless steel fastenings, the extension kit can be easily retrofitted to existing installations.
