Engineered for Excellence: Unveiling the Uniqueness of VETUS D-Line Marine Diesel Engines
We have designed a water-cooled top cover, which serves a dual purpose – mitigating engine room heat and reducing the engine noise from the already quiet engine block and, to maximize utility, this exclusive top cover can be used as a convenient step, facilitating maintenance.
Emission Standards? Check!
VETUS recognizes the significance of environmental responsibility. Consequently, we have ensured that our highly fuel-efficient D-Line engines fully comply with the RCD2 and BSO2 emission regulations. Additionally, by adhering to these strict standards without sacrificing performance, VETUS guarantees that your marine adventures have a reduced carbon footprint..
A Marine Diesel Engine Tailored to Your Needs
Each vessel set-up is unique, hence the reason we designed the D-line to offer an array of customizable options, ranging from 24 VDC electrical installation to a 12 or 24 V DC second alternator. To further enhance your boating experience you can choose a potentiometer for mechanical controls, a front belt cover for the second alternator, a calorifier kit, an electrical trolling valve, extra pulleys, or a fly-bridge instrument panel. This is the flexibility to tailor your engine setup to your specific needs.
Seamless Integration
Engineered to seamlessly integrate into modern marine systems, the D-Line engines feature a CAN bus system with a SAEJ1939 protocol. This connectivity ensures effortless compatibility with NMEA2000 systems on board and ease of installation.
All D-Line Diesel Engines are HVO approved and can be operated using more sustainable fuels.
